The footage to gather
- The room before work
- One installation decision
- The finished space from the same angle
Give each moment a little breathing room. Get close enough to show the detail, and keep the original clips handy.
Plan a phone-footage edit
Choose one scene from your camera roll and remove unrelated takes.
Trim repeated attempts, retain useful original sound and use a close view only when it clarifies an action.
Return to the completed result.
Review it for home renovators
State which work is shown and avoid implying that every project has the same cost or timescale.
Ask yourself: Can the viewer follow the scene on a small screen without extra explanation?
Watch it as if you were seeing it for the first time. If something is unclear, try a different cut or add the missing shot.
